DYMET ® portable spraying equipment provides deposition of metal coatings by gas-dynamic method. The equipment is used for deposition of coatings during manufacturing of metals units and in different kinds of their repair and restoration works. The equipment can be used autonomously or built into automatic work posts or conveyors. The equipment is protected from voltage fluctuations (180-250V) and from sudden pressure decrease. Personnel
A person working with DYMET ® equipment should have permission to work with electric instruments and compressed air and should be instructed by the supplier on work rules and techniques.
Technology
The compressed air is settled to a heater of a praying unit. In the heater the air is heated to the working temperature and moves to supersonic nozzle. The control button switches the powder flow from the feeder. The powder moves to the nozzle where it is accelerated up to the necessary velocities. The equipment operator directs the jet of powder and air onto the surface of a treated unit, and the accelerated powder particles form the coating.
Exist one more unusual application area for gas-dynamic coating DYMET technology and equipment, designed by Obninsk Center of Cold Sputtering and offered by our company.
Moscow painter Kirill Kasatkin uses DYMET technology for creating art pieces of a new type. Copper, rusty sheets of iron, glass, etc. are used by the artist as a “canvas”, while powder mixtures of aluminum, copper, zinc, lead (and other materials commonly offered by our company to our buyers) are used as “dyes”.
