Germane is a flammable, toxic, colorless gas used for production of ultra pure Germanium structures and its alloys in solar batteries on amorphous silicon, flash-memory cells, (Si,Ge)O2 films with controllable refraction index and in other areas.

Germane is delivered in steel or aluminium cylinders (of a buyer or a manufacturer) with of the volume from 10 up to 50 litres both pure (100 %) and in the form of mixture with hydrogen, helium or argon. Concentration of GeH 4 in the mixture is from 5 up to 50 % vol. Diluent-gas purity min. 99,9999 % vol.
